Feeling powerless isn’t the same thing as being powerless. Sometimes people choose that feeling over the discomfort of action.

And to be sure, action against power is dangerous and one must make their own choices about safety and the safety of their loved ones.

But change only occurs with courage and the willingness to be unsafe. Psychologically and/or physically. This is the battle raging in hearts and minds right now.
